Installation Steps :

1. Download and extract the WordPress & Kayako integration files using the link: https://github.com/kayako/wordpress-integration/archive/master.zip

2. In the ‘src/wp-content/plugins’ folder, copy the ‘kayako’ folder and paste it into the ‘wp-content/plugins/’ directory of your WordPress installation.

3. Login to admin control panel of your Kayako installation.

4. On the menu sidebar, click ‘REST API’ and then ‘Settings’.

5. Next to ‘Enable API’ select the *Yes* radio button.

6. Click the *Update* button to save your changes.

7. Click the ‘API Information’ link on the menu and copy all of the Kayako REST API details.

8. Log into the administrative interface of your WordPress installation.

9. On the menu sidebar, click ‘Plugins’ and then ‘Installed Plugins’.

10. You will see a list of every plugin installed on your WordPress site.

11. Search for the ‘Kayako for WordPress’ plugin and click *Activate* to enable the plugin.

12. On the menu sidebar you’ll now see a ‘Kayako’ heading. Click it, and then ‘Kayako Settings’.

13.  In the ‘Access Details’ section, fill in the API details you copied from the Kayako admin control panel. 

14. You can also set the labels for each field on the ‘Submit a ticket’ tab.

To offer Live Chat support from your WordPress site, you’ll need to create a Live Chat tag to include on the page:

15. Go back to the Kayako admin control panel and click ‘Tag Generator’ on the menu sidebar.

16. You’ll need to select the type of Live Chat tag you want, and follow the prompts for creating it.

17. Once you’ve generated the Live Chat tag, switch back to the WordPress admin, click ‘Kayako’ and then ‘Live Chat Tag’.

18.  In the text box labeled ‘Paste the tag generated by Kayako Fusion here:’ paste a code for the Live Chat tag you generated with Kayako and click on *Save Tag*.

19. And we are done. Your Kayako WordPress plugin is ready to use.

20. To convert the comments into Kayako Tickets, click on 'Convert this comment to kayako ticket '

21. Kayako Ticket Submission form which will be display in frontend of WordPress after adding the shortcode [kayako_helpdesk]

22. The below window contains the list of tickets which would display on dashboard widget.

23. To post a reply from WordPress panel by clicking on the specified ticket from list ticket view. You can update the ticket status and ticket priority simultaneously. You can also view all the replies already associated with that ticket.
