SugarCRM Kayako Module

Kayako module for SugarCRM allows employees to integrate the Kayako system within the SugarCRM by listing the tickets in SugarCRM.

Installation

1. Download the Kayako module.

2. Log into the SugarCRM Admin panel and access the module loader under Developer Tools section.

3. Upload the downloaded zip file.

4. Once the module is uploaded successfully, Install and Commit it. Once successfully installed, it will appeared as follows:

5. Rebuild the SugarCRM instance, by clicking on Quick Repair and Rebuild under Admin -> Repair section.

6. After successful rebuild, you will see a Kayako panel in the Admin page. *

7. Fill up the configuration details by clicking Credentials hyperlink.

8. You can view the configuration settings by clicking on Setting Manager.

9. For configuring Kayako Tickets in Leads and Contacts module, go to Studio.

Under Contacts you will find Layouts.
• Go to Layouts->DetailView.
• Create a new row.
• Drag and drop the Kayako Tickets Field into tha new row.
• Click Save and Deploy.

Repeat the steps for Leads too.

10. Your Kayako module has been successfully installed, and ready for use.

You can view the tickets associated with users under Contacts and Leads section.

On clicking the subject, it will navigate to the Kayako Helpdesk where respective actions can be made on the tickets (like Edit, Reply, etc).

Note: * If Kayako panel is not visible in the Admin Panel, then extract the zipped module and copy SugarModules/Extension/modules folder into sugarcrm’s custom/Extension/ and repeat the step 5.
